With us, it's personal.

We are not a “sausage machine” operation. We prefer to handle fewer cases and do a better job of them than other mortgage arrangers, many of whom have such high staffing costs, overheads and demands from shareholders that their consultants are under tremendous pressure to write large volumes of mortgages. Instead, we have the time to ensure a consistently high standard of service to our clients, successfully driving your mortgage through from application to completion.

It's what we're here for.

We’re here to give you the most appropriate advice for your specific circumstances, whether there’s anything in it for us or not- sound unusual? There may be times when you are better off staying with your existing lender than remortgaging, for example. If that’s the case, we’ll let you know, and it won’t have cost you anything to find out. Either way, we will always tell you exactly why we are making a recommendation, backing it up with numbers in black and white, and always framing it within the needs and priorities you give us. Again, from what our clients tell us, other companies aren’t always this transparent about why they make their recommendations.

No advice fee? What's the catch?

Sorry to be boring, but there isn't one. We do not charge an advice fee, full stop. We get paid by the mortgage lender or insurer for introducing you to them, filling in the forms on their behalf, and saving them the staffing and office costs they’d normally incur if you went to them direct. We’ll tell you how much we’re due to get paid by the lender as a standard part of the process. And don’t worry, our being paid in this way doesn’t push up the cost of your mortgage, with you getting the benefit of impartial advice and help
with the application process along the way.

Some other brokers do charge an advice fee, which we don’t really understand. We don’t understand because a lot of these brokers charge an advice fee in addition to being paid by the lender. These advice fees these other brokers charge can be hundreds of pounds- what a waste of your money!

Time to see us?

We will see you when YOU are free. No more rushing from work to make afternoon appointments or queuing in stuffy branches. We can make appointments to see you at your home or workplace, and evening and weekend appointments are no problem. For most people, taking out a mortgage is the biggest financial decision they’ll ever make. So if you have an appointment with us, and decide you need time to think things through (and let’s face it, what sensible person wouldn’t?), that’s what you’ll get. You won’t get harassed with phone calls hurrying you into things- you call us again when you need us. And yet again, this is something our clients tell us is not always the case when dealing with other companies.
